AdminA decade of bringing Glendale together through a shared love of cars, service, and giving back — and the biggest show yet is just ahead.
Counting down to year 10
What started as a single Sunday morning in 2017 has grown into one of the most beloved community traditions in the Glendale foothills.
The Rotary Club of Glendale founded Cars for Cops & Kids to do something beautifully simple: bring families, car enthusiasts, and local law enforcement together at Verdugo Park — a free, family-friendly morning of incredible vehicles, live music, food, and community pride.
Through the partnership of the Dad's Club of Verdugo Woodlands and the Glendale Police Department, the show has grown from a grassroots idea into an annual tradition that draws hundreds of families, dozens of car clubs, and more than 200 vehicles to Verdugo Park every first Sunday of June.
Over ten years, more than $450,000 has been raised for Glendale youth programs and at-risk youth initiatives — proof that a morning spent admiring beautiful cars can change lives in meaningful ways.
